Document Preparation

When a client has limited funds and cannot afford court representation by an attorney, our attorneys will prepare those documents necessary to address their issues before the court.  The benefit is that an attorney prepares your documents instead a of legal document preparer or paralegal.  Fees for our services are as follows:

Petition for Dissolution (without children)            $275

*To start the divorce process

 

Petition for Dissolution (with children)                $375

Response to Petition for Dissolution (without children)     $200

*After you have been served papers for a divorce, you must respond within 20 days.

 

Response to Petition for Dissolution (with children)          $300

*After you have been served papers for a divorce, you must respond within 20 days.

 

Petition for to Transfer Case to Conciliation Services        $125

*If you have been served with divorce papers and believe that you marriage can be saved, you can request that your case be transferred to conciliation services.  This will put a “stay” on your divorce proceedings for sixty days.

 

Temporary Orders (must have pending action)            $275

*After a Petition has been filed, you can ask the court to make temporary orders regarding legal decision making, parenting time, child support,spousal maintenance, use of the home, cars and other community property.

 

Response to Temporary Orders                    $275

*After you have been served papers for Temporary Orders, you should respond or risk having the  court order exactly what the other party has requested.

 

Emergency Orders                            $300

*After a Petition has been filed and someone is about to cause serious bodily harm to another person immediately, or the health, safety, and welfare of a person is otherwise in serious and immediate jeopardy.

 

Petition to Establish Paternity, Legal Decision Making (Custody), Parenting Time (Visitation), and/or Child Support                    $350

*When you want a court order that declares paternity and legal decision making (custody), parenting time and (optionally) child support.  Paternity has not already been legally established for at least one of the children to be named in the court order, and the same person is the father of all children to be incldued in the court order.  The minor child(ren) resided (lived) in Arizona at least 6 months before you file the petition.

 

Response to Paternity, Legal Decision Making (Custody), Parenting Time (Visitation), and/or Child Support                        $275

*After you have been served with papers, you must respond within twenty days.  If you disagree with anything in the Petition, you need to respond or the other party may automatically get what they want.

 

Child Support Modification                        $225

*To change an existing court order due to continuing change in circumstances (e.g. changes in either parents’ income, child care costs, and/or health insurance premiums)

 

Response to Order to Show Cause Petition for Modification    $275

*After you have been served papers to modify child support, you need to respond if you do not agree with what the other party is requesting.  If you fail to respond, you risk having the  court order exactly what the other party has requested.

 

Petition to Modify Legal Decision Making (Custody), Parenting Time (Visitation), and Child Support                            $300

*To change an existing court order because (1) domestic violence, spousal abuse, or child abuse has occurred since the custody order was signed, OR (2) the minor child(ren)’s present surroundings may endanger the minor child(ren)’s physical, mental or emotional health, OR (3) the joint legal decision making (custody) order that you want to change was dated at least six months ago and the other party has failed to comply with the provisions of the joint custody order, OR (4) the order that you want to change was dated at least one year ago and it

is in the minor child(ren)’s best interest to make a change to that order.

 

Response to Order to Show Cause Petition for Modification    $275

*After you have been served papers to modify legal decision making, parenting time, and child support, you need to respond if you do not agree with what the other party is requesting.  If you fail to respond, you risk having the  court order exactly what the other party has requested.

 

Petition for Third-Party Visitation (Grandparent’s Rights)    $275

*For grandparents seeking a court order allowing visitation with their grandchildren.  The children must have have lived in Arizona for six (6) months before filing of the Petition and either (1) the parents have been divorced for at least three months, (2) one parent is deceased or missing for at least three months, or (3) the child(ren) were born out of wedlock.
